ACREST is a centre that provides: information, demonstration, energy services, training, sensitization and production of renewable energy and appropriate technology systems. Created in 2004, and registered in 2005 as a non profit making association with the aim of promoting RETs and appropriate technologies. The center located in the rural area, is self sufficient in energy and provides energy services to the rural poor with no access to modern electricity. ACREST intends to show people how to use existing locally available natural resources to address their problems. |
