IED is a strictly independant engineering and consultancy firm. IED provides technical, economic, financial, regulatory and social services on power sector issues, rural services, renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency, the Kyoto portocol and sustainable development.
IED offers the whole range of services for the development of mini and small hydro power, from site identification to assistance to project execution.
Regarding technical studies, we cover the range up to 10 MW.
Non technical aspects (load forecasting, integration in local energy networks) can cover much larger capacities and can also include assistance to financial engineering and contractual negotiations.
