It is a semi government institution that undertakes development activities aimed at improving the living standards of the rural/remote area communities in PNG. Tasks - Assess, study, design & install appropriate technologies for the benefit of the communities. The areas include micro hydro, solar PV, water supply, small industry, food processing, energy training and information dissemination. |

| Undertake site assessments, feasibility study, design and intallation of micro hydro power systems. |
Solar PV Systems |
| Undertake design and intallation of solar PV systems for lighting, vaccine fridge, radio/TV, communication, water pumping, etc |
Renewable Energy Training |
| Short training Workshops/Courses in micro hydro and solar PV. This is includes O & M training for hydro owners. Training period is 3 - 5 days. |
